THIS COMPETITION IS PRE-ENTRY ONLY.
Custom Transporter is a premium Show & Shine comp which is only for 'custom' Bakkies and Minibuses that are manufactured from 2000 - present and in show worthy condition. 'Show worthy' meaning,
-
Exterior modifications (lift kits/stanced, lights, body mods, custom wheels and tyres etc),
-
Interior (Extensive mods not essential, but any mods, custom audio or air ride installs are a plus)
-
Engine bay (Extensive mods not essential, but if any mods are done, must be exquisitely built to standards and neat)
These are the pre-requisites to be considered as an entry. We are looking for the country's BEST rides in these classes to compete for the ultimate prize!
This competition will be hosted and judged on both days of the idle Auto Fest show @ Mall Of Africa. It will run simultaneously to the other Show & Shine comps over the weekend but would have its own sponsor/s, classes and prizes. Our judges are carefully chosen and all have extensive experience with Bakkies & Minibuses. If Custom Transporter doesn't apply to you, then we do have other Show & Shine comps/ categories for other types of vehicles over the weekend, please see below
NOTE

All show cars will need to be on display from Friday 29 October 2021 (Setup day).

Once the cars have been parked, they may NOT be moved for the full 2-day duration of the show until Sunday 6pm. There is overnight basement parking (ONLY if there is any bad weather forecasted overnight)

Exhibitors can also enter the vehicles that's on their display booths. Judging will be done at your booths.

There will be Event security and Mall security to ensure safety of all vehicles.

During show times owners or a representative must man their vehicles.

There is strict Rules & Regulations to be adhered to.
COVID DATE
Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes to the scheduled show date to a later date may be brought on by the South African Government, event promoters or local authorities. In such cases, we will communicate this to you as soon as possible.
PRIZES AWARDED FOR:

HIGHEST LIFT
The 4x4 with the highest lift kit.
BEST EXTERIOR
Points will be awarded for custom exterior mods, paint job, wheels and tyre combo, build quality, lift/stance and neatness.
BEST INTERIOR
The vehicle with the neatest interior. Any mods, custom sound install or air install will be a plus.
BEST WHEEL
The best wheel and tyre combo that suits the application.
MOST INGENIOUS BUILD
This prize is awarded to the Tuning house/Tuner that built the best vehicle from the Custom Transporter category.
BEST ENGINE BAY
The bakkie/ minibus with the neatest bay. Points will be awarded for custom mods and build quality.
BEST STANCE
The best stanced bakkie/minibus from the Custom Transporter category.
OVERALL PRIZES
OVERALL PRIZES ARE JUDGED WITH ALL CATEGORIES COMBINED.

The vehicle that has the best display at the show.
HOW TO ENTER...
There are 2 (two) processes to enter the comp, the REGISTRATION ENTRY & the OFFICIAL ENTRY. Pre-Entry is compulsory.
REGISTRATION ENTRY (FIRST PROCESS)

Use the Registration Tab below to register your ride.

Our registration for Custom Transporter is limited to 40 entries.

Registration is FREE (No costs involved)

When your entry is received you will be notified.

Once all 40 entries are received our in-house judges will choose the Top20.
OFFICIAL ENTRY - ONLY FOR TOP20 (SECOND PROCESS)

Once our judges have determined the Top20, they will be notified of their selection for the Official Entry.

The Top20 competitors will need to pay an Entry Fee of R250.00 per vehicle for the entry to be valid.

Once payment is received, we will then broadcast the Top20 on our social media platforms.

We then take the Top20 vehicles and make a prominent exhibition of Automotive Quality at the show. They will compete for bragging rights and great prizes.

Winners to be announced at our 'on-stage' prize giving.
