idle Auto Expo (IAE) is a unique Automotive Lifestyle Experience targeted towards the Car, Bike, 4x4 & Offroad, OEM and Aftermarket industries. It celebrates a lifestyle, and experience, where the most innovative come together to showcase their automotive passion. The Automotive community needs enhanced event experiences one fuelled by passion and dedication to craftsmanship, where the best vehicle builds are carefully chosen to rise above the rest, where enthusiasts, fans and consumers come together to share stories and ultimately their love for the craft at a premier venue.
In 2023 all roads lead to a new venue, due to our rapid growth we will now occupy almost 13000sqm of floorspace at the amazing Montecasino in Fourways! The theme for 2023 is “DRIVE YOUR PASSION” and this premier entertainment venue fits this perfectly with its picturesque Tuscan themed backdrop.

Idle Auto Expo is a 2 (Two) Day Automotive Expo which brings together an array of leading Automotive & Lifestyle exhibitors from all over the country and Sub-Saharan Africa to Network with like minded enthusiasts, showcase their latest vehicles, products, services and offerings ranging from OEM & Aftermarket Retail, Accessories, Performance, ICE (In-car entertainment), Gaming, Clothing (Streetwear) to Mancave goodies and much more.
The Event will occupy Montecasino's massive events area. The aim for 2023 is to also have our Spectators more physically involved at the event with exciting Automotive focused activities. Winners are presented with awesome giveaways from leading brands in the industry.
RC Drifting will tease the boy-racer in you!
A live DJ and MC will entertain the crowds throughout the weekend as well as to present the many giveaways on stage. There will be much more entertainment planned over the course of the next few months and we will keep you updated through our social media platforms.
