THIS COMPETITION IS PRE-ENTRY ONLY.

Car Club Show-Off is a Show & Shine comp which is only for approved Car Clubs. The car clubs committees must choose 5(five) of their best club rides to represent their clubs. All vehicles must be of exceptional show quality. We are looking for the country's BEST club rides to compete for the ultimate prize! Car clubs can also use this opportunity to market their clubs and obtain new memberships. We will also be giving away a prize for the best dressed Car Club booth (stand).

This competition will be hosted and judged on both days of the idle Auto Fest show @ Mall Of Africa. It will run totally independently to the other Show & Shine comps over the weekend and would have its own sponsor/s, classes, prizes and judges. Our judges are carefully chosen and all have extensive experience with Automobiles. NOTE

All club cars will need to be on display from Thursday 29 October 2021 (Setup day).
Once the cars have been parked, they may NOT be moved for the full 2-day duration of the show until Sunday 6pm. There is overnight basement parking (ONLY if there is any bad weather forecasted overnight)
There will be Event security and Mall security to ensure safety of all vehicles.
During show times owners or a representative must man their vehicles.
There is strict Rules & Regulations to be adhered to.

COVID DATE

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes to the scheduled show date to a later date may be brought on by the South African Government, event promoters or local authorities. In such cases, we will communicate this to you as soon as possible.

PRIZES AWARDED FOR:

BEST CUSTOM RIDE

The vehicle with best custom modifications to the exterior and interior. All modifications to the vehicle has to be exquisitely done regarding fitment, wheels, paint and interior.

BEST OG

The best "original". Vehicle must be factory original or restored. No custom work or modifications to the exterior, interior or engine bay (this excludes internal engine modifications that are not visible).

BEST INTERIOR

For the vehicle with the best custom interior which will include air/sound install.

BEST WHEEL

The vehicle with the best wheel and how it suits the vehicle.

BEST ENGINE BAY

The vehicle with the neatest bay. A neat custom bay will take precedence over a neat stock OEM one.

BEST EXTERIOR

The exterior of the vehicle needs to be spotless in every area. The paint, fitment & wheel combo has to be perfect.

BEST CAR CLUB BOOTH

The car club with the best dressed stand and display of cars. Points will also be awarded for crowd interactivity and props used for the car displays.

HOW TO ENTER...

There are 2 (two) processes to enter, the REGISTRATION ENTRY & the OFFICIAL ENTRY. Pre-Entry is compulsory.

There is no cost to register your Car Club however should your club be approved for the Official Entry process a fee of R250.00 per club car (R1250.00 in total) will need to be paid for the entry to be valid and official. Please see more details below.

REGISTRATION ENTRY (FIRST PROCESS)

Use the Registration Tab below to register your car club.
Your club committee will need to register a maximum of 5(five) of their clubs best show/concours' rides using the registration form
Registration is FREE (No costs involved)
When your 5(five) entries are received you will be notified.
Once all 5(five) entries are received our in-house judges will either approve or decline your registration to the show.

OFFICIAL ENTRY - ONLY FOR APPROVED CAR CLUBS (SECOND PROCESS)

Once our judges have determined the Top10 car clubs, they will be notified of their selection for the Official Entry.
The Top10 car clubs will then need to pay an Entry Fee of R250.00 per vehicle x 5 = R1250.00 per club for the entry to be valid.
Once payment is received, we will then broadcast the Top10 clubs on our social media platforms.
We then take the Top10 clubs with their "5 mascots" and make a prominent exhibition of Automotive Quality at the show. They will compete for bragging rights and great prizes.
Winners to be announced at our 'on-stage' prize giving.
