Urban Stance & Supercars is a premium Show & Shine comp co-presented by Detail Ease & The Lowdown Co which is only for 'customised' Stance vehicles and Supercars, emphasizing on Fitment. This includes cars & suv's. Customised meaning, 'more than just wheels and suspension' modifications. Vehicles must have more modifications wether interior, engine or exterior to be considered as an entry. We are looking for the country's BEST rides in these categories to compete for the ultimate prize!

This competition will be hosted and judged on both days of the idle Auto Fest show @ Mall Of Africa. It will run simultaneously to the other Show & Shine comps over the weekend but would have its own sponsor/s, classes, and prizes. Our judges are carefully chosen and all have extensive experience with stance (fitment) and customising. If Stance & Supercars doesn't apply to you, then we do have other Show & Shine comps/ categories for other types of vehicles over the weekend, please see below

NOTE

All show cars will need to be on display from Friday 20 May 2022 (Setup day).
Once the cars have been parked, they may NOT be moved for the full 2-day duration of the show until Sunday 6pm. There is overnight basement parking (ONLY if there is any bad weather forecasted overnight)
Exhibitors can also enter the cars that's on their display booths. Judging will be done at your booths.
There will be Event security and Mall security to ensure safety of all vehicles.
During show times owners or a representative must man their vehicles.
There is strict Rules & Regulations to be adhered to.

COVID DATE

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes to the scheduled show date to a later date may be brought on by the South African Government, event promoters or local authorities. In such cases, we will communicate this to you as soon as possible.

PRIZES AWARDED FOR:

BEST TUCKED FITMENT

'Tucked' fitment involves the wheels sitting behind the fenders. Mostly common on Air Ride vehicles

BEST FLUSH FITMENT

'Flush' fitment means that the wheel is pretty much perfectly aligned with the fender. Mostly common with static suspension

BEST INTERIOR

For the vehicle with the best custom interior which will include air/sound install.

BEST WHEEL

The vehicle with the best wheel and how it suits the vehicle.

BEST ENGINE BAY

The vehicle with the neatest bay. A neat custom bay will take precedence over a neat stock OEM one.

BEST EXTERIOR

The exterior of the vehicle needs to be spotless in every area. The paint, fitment & wheel combo has to be perfect.

BEST STANCED SUPERCAR

The supercar that has the best fitment

Prize categories

Registration

HOW TO ENTER...

There are 2 (two) processes to enter the comp, the REGISTRATION ENTRY & the OFFICIAL ENTRY. Pre-Entry is compulsory.

REGISTRATION ENTRY (FIRST PROCESS)

Use the Registration Tab below to register your ride.
Our registration for Urban Stance & Supercars is limited to 50 entries.
Registration is FREE (No cost involved)
When your entry is received you will be notified.
Once all 50 entries are received our in-house judges will choose the Top 21.

OFFICIAL ENTRY - ONLY FOR TOP21 (SECOND PROCESS)

Once our judges have determined the Top 21, they will be notified of their selection for the Official Entry.
The Top 21 competitors will need to pay an Entry Fee of R250.00 per vehicle for the entry to be valid.
Once payment is received, we will then broadcast the Top 21 on our social media platforms.
We then take the Top 21 vehicles and make a prominent exhibition of Automotive Quality at the show. They will compete for bragging rights and great prizes.
Winners to be announced at our 'on-stage' prize giving.
