Street Dance Battle is a exciting new street dance competition to be run and judged by MGHHDA (Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy) exclusively at the idle Auto Fest show, Mall Of Africa. idle Auto Fest is an automotive lifestyle show and we strongly feel that Street Dance is an element of that lifestyle. The shows organisers are also passionate about street dancing and with the show being a more oftogether with one of SA's top dance academies MGHHDA they will promote the sport of Street Dancing, hoping to inspire and get more youngsters involved.

WHAT IS STREET DANCE BATTLE (SDB)?

Street Dance Battle is an All Style Street Dance Competition for all Advanced Dancers from Ages 7yrs and over. The competition is open for all Advanced dancers from different races, backgrounds, Street Dance Styles in South Africa. Dancers will have their shot at being crowned the Top Street Dance Style Solo Champion, Street Dance Style Battle Champions or Street Dance Crew Champion. Solo Dancers will walk away with the Solo Hip Hop Street Dance Floating Trophy ,Cash Prizes, Hip Hop Hampers and the Bragging rights of being the First SDB Solo Dance Champion for 2021. Battle Dancers will walk away with the Solo Street Dance Battle Floating Trophy ,Cash Prizes, Hip Hop Hampers and the Bragging rights of being the First SDB Solo Dance Battle Champion for 2021. Crew Dancers will have their time to show off their illest Choreography, Formations and Concepts and being Named the SDB CREW CHAMPIONS of South Africa while walking away with great Cash Prizes and Hampers.
ABOUT MARIO GOMES

Mario Gomes is a professional Dancer, Choreographer, Dance Coach, Crew Manager and Business Owner. Mario Gomes has been dancing since the age of 11 and is trained in styles such as Latin American, Ballroom, Modern, Freestyle Disco, Contemporary, Hip Hop and All Street Dance Styles. Mario Gomes started the Hip Hop Dance Academy in 2012 and since then has established a name as the biggest Hip Hop Street Dance Academy in South Africa. The Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy currently holds several World Titles and currently is the reigning Junior and Adult Hip Hop Mega Crew and Solo Hip Hop World Cup Champions. At the Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy dancers are trained in Hip Hop and all Street dance styles such as Popping, Locking, House, Krump, Dancehall, Vogue, Waacking, Lyrical, LA Style, New School and much more. All classes are run in a crew format as all dancers are trained on a world competitive level. All dancers trained at the Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy are trained to be Professional Artistic Performers.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
In these terms, MGHHDA means Mario Gomes Hip Hop Academy

I fully understand and accept that participation in the above activity shall be undertaken at my own / my child’s own risk.

I hereby authorise MGHHDA/The Organisers to act on my behalf in respect of any circumstances pertaining to any accident, illness or misfortune arising from, during, or in connection with the above activity in the manner that MGHHDA/The Organisers in their absolute discretion deem fit. I fully accept complete liability for all expenses incurred thereby or in connection therewith.

On behalf of myself, our heirs, the child and our executors, we hereby undertake to and hereby do indemnify, absolve and hold harmless MGHHDA/The Organisers/ The Landlord against any loss in respect of all claims, proceedings, damages, costs and expenses whatsoever, that may arise in the course of, in connection with, the above activities, howsoever arising and whether as a result of negligence or otherwise.

Entry Fees are: Solo R150 Per Dancer, Crew R100 Per Member

This is a Pre-Entry competition only. No Entries will be accepted on the Day.

Entry Fees do not include Transport, Food, Refreshments, Clothing, Accommodation. All extra costs will be at the Dancers Expense.

any theft, injury or loss of life that may occur at or around the Competition Premises.

Rights of Admission Reserved.

Copyright exists on all choreography, music and videos of Street Dance Battle.

Parents, Dancers or Crew member’s at the Event give Street Dance Battle the Rights to use any Images or Music of Dancers entered into the Street Dance Battle.

No spectators or parents allowed on stage. Dancers/Crew Leaders/Teachers ONLY!

Street Dance Dress Code: Any age appropriate HIP HOP street training wear/clothes. SNEAKERS/SHOES ARE COMPULSORY! Incorrectly dressed Dancers will not be allowed to participate.​
